Q: Tell us about yourself.  

A:  Married (Debra), two children (Alyssa (20) and Ashley (15)), graduate of Talawanda High School in Oxford Ohio (1979) and Transylvania University (1983) with a double major in Mathematics and Mathematics Education. I received my Masters from UK in Mathematics. Born in Lexington on Nov. 22, 1961 and lived there until we moved to Oxford, Ohio in 1968. Enrolled at Transylvania University to play basketball from 1979-1983 and accepted a teaching/coaching job at Woodford County in 1983. This is my 30th year coaching girls basketball at WCHS and WCMS. I also, coached baseball for 28 years.

North Hardin Football

 A few weeks ago I had the opportunity to talk with Brent Thompson, Head Football Coach of North Hardin.  I hope you enjoy learning more about him!

Q:  Tell us about yourself.  

A: I have been married for 14 years.  I have 4 children- a 19 year old daughter that attends Sullivan University for culinary arts, and four year old triplets- 2 boys and one girl.  My wife is a nurse at a local hospital.  I graduated from Elizabethtown High in 1993.  I went on to Campbellsville University and graduated in 1998 with a BS in Business Administration.  I coached as a GA in 1997 at Campbellsville.

A: I am from Richmond, KY married to Rhea Parks. I have 2 daughters Renea (7 mos.) and Reille (3 yrs), and a son Dominic. I played football for Georgetown College (KY) from 1997-1999, graduating with a B.S. in Business Management and a Minor in Communications.  I earned a Master Degree in Business Education and my Rank 1 from the University of Kentucky.

Boyle County Girls Track & Field

Boyle County Girls (team Accomplishments in 2012) 1st place at the Pulaski Invitational 2nd place at the Heart of the Bluegrass at Henry Clay 1st place at the Boyle County Invitational Tied for 1st place with Henry Clay at the Central Kentucky Conference 1st place at the Regional Championship.

As for the State Meet…CAN’T WAIT!
